About the Position

We are now looking for a Quality Process Engineer for Smurfit Westrock Piteå's Quality Department!

You will work in a team that checks every day that what we produce is of the right quality.

This means that you will work daily with assessment and reporting of quality outcomes and tracking quality disturbances.

We are responsible for analysis instruments in operations, so you will deepen your understanding of their function and use.

In this role, you will be responsible for the quality of measurements, meaning that we follow methods and ensure that we measure correctly. You will work with measurement uncertainty, testing comparisons, and deviation management, and you will engage in improvement work both within your own group and cross-functionally.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with both production and marketing functions.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a technical university degree. This position is suitable for recent graduates as well as those who have worked a few years and are looking for new challenges.

To thrive in this role, you should be quality-conscious and analytical with good reasoning skills, adept at problem-solving, and practical in your approach. You enjoy varied work but also appreciate routines.

Furthermore, you need to feel comfortable communicating and be clear in your communication, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to drive your processes independently. We also expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full-time position, with 37.5 hours per week.

Start date is according to agreement.
